I love my dear bunny Hajime who I received second hand…I have researched everything I can wanting the best for her..in my research I have read horror accounts of how sensitive they are and even a loud sound can send them into shock cause heart attack..my bunny did not stop eating but cut back..I called two vets twice and cried thinking she would die..now as much as I love her I watch constantly for the slightest change trying to hide my worry from her. If they are so fragile how do they love in the wild…please I need some perspective..she is the dearest creature but I’m ready to give her away so she does not die on me. Afraid!

I’m sorry your going through this stress. A bun that suddenly starts to eat less is indeed an indication that there could be a problem, but it could be as minor as a tiny bit of gas, or something more serious like stasis or dental issues. How old is your bun and what is her daily diet like? How long has she been eating less?

Another factor is age, sex, and breed. Are they spayed or neutered? What’s their diet consist of usually?

Common daily sounds are ok for a rabbit. You don’t have to be super quiet (although they appreciate it when they sleep) I live in an apartment so I have some external noises and bandit seems fine. We also live a bock away from the fire house and the truck goes by sometimes but I try and keep the window shut as best I can.
