As long as the walls are totally lined with straw and the floor is solid, they should be fine! My personal buns are indoors, but my rescue buns are outdoors. I always bring the rescue buns in if it’s too cold, though.

If it’s cold where you are you should bring them indoors , they really thrive indoors as they are social animals and they don’t handle changing temps outside very well
There are plenty here that can help with advise on moving them inside

Mine isn’t a hutch really… more like a summer house… which was purposely built for bunnies… Anyway it’s currently split until they’ve bonded. Lights and a greenhouse heater are being put in during the summer. The only reason these guys have so much straw is because Binky was moved out here earlier than planned and Monte has a thick layer of hay and straw to prevent sore hocks. Most of the time it gets shoved out the way though… typical buns.

I really like the ideas here for insulating outdoor housing.

What thats amazing. Im in scotland. Weather can be un predictable. But atm its about 8 but has been up at 15 last few days but when we have a cold snap can be anything from 2 to -8 at the coldest. I cant bring them in as i have 2 dogs so wouldnt be fair. I was thinking about getting indoor cage and bringing them in on the coldest nights but then i posted about my friens that does that and was advised against it… x
