  A friend of mine has 2 bunnies also. She tends to bring them in to her house and into an indoor cage when the weather gets cold!! I read that it isnt ideal to do this as they dont get used temps outside etc? But her 2 seem to be completely fine and im now wondering if i should get an indoor cage for the winter?

  It’s only okay to do this when the room is around the same temperature as outdoors. I’ve brought mine in when it’s been sunny out as it was the same temperature (still had to have no heating on and windows all open).
  
  You’re right in saying that bunnies do not do well with temperature changes, not when it’s going from hot to cold so suddenly. Your friend has either been very lucky or the temperatures haven’t been a significant enough change to cause damage. I would never move a bunny from outdoor to indoors during the winter months, or indoor to outdoor. If you want them indoors over winter then you should move them indoors when it’s spring/summer/autumn depending on temps. Just because hers have been fine does not mean yours will, I advise against it.
