My bunny has been spayed and litter trained for years.  We brought home a new bunny mate last week and my older bunny, Piper, got out one night, probably out of curiosity for the new bunny.  After jumping out, we are noticing that she is (what looks like anyway) spraying pee everywhere in her enclosure.  She never used to do this.  I don’t know if she was injured when jumping out or if it is a territorial thing (both she and her hubby are pooping EVERYWHERE in their area, so I’m assuming that is territorial).  Anyone have experience with this?

She’s not showing any signs of injury besides the peeing issues, so I’m not sure how to tell what’s going on.

        Thanks for your help!

Yup. Sounds like she got a whiff of the new guy and is marking her territory. Girls are especially territorial. Unfortunately, this may be ongoing until they are bonded.

That makes me feel relieved if that is the case!! It’s normal for them to mark even if they are already spayed/neutered? It would make sense if it is markinf because the pee spraying seems only to be on the side of the cage closest to them.
