Hi! My name is Jennifer and I’m the owner of panda. I have heard that you can use vinegar to clean a rabbits litter box but I can apple vinegar? I want my rabbit to be happy and healthy so this is why I’m asking. Is it safe? Will it be basically the same as cleaning with white vinegar?

I don’t know if it is safe, but it will be washed out anyway and it is not a chemical…so… I’m guessing yes
But someone else will hopefully chime in
I just use a scrubby brush and hot water and it works very well.

I put apple cider vinegar in Wick’s water, if that’s the same thing as apple vinegar?

I’d go with regular vinegar watered down though; I believe it’s a better cleaner due to its composition.

cider/applecider vinegar same thing. That’s what I use. White vinegar is typically made from cane sugar. Distilled vinegar can be made from anything that produces alcohol – so really it is alcohol vinegar. I.e. distilled vinegar. More purified than white vinegar. I haven’t found anythign that says one type is better than another for cleaning. Distilled vinegar doesn’t have the pungent aroma that cider vinegar has, so some people prefer that aspect of it for a cleaner/bath additive.
