Today Zilla, my 4.5lb dog, was at the vet all day since he was having his teeth cleaned and some dental work done. Amelia was beside herself looking for him, she barley had interest in her pellets. Then later took out her frustration on her honeysuckle vine wreath and tore it to shreds. I guess I had not realized how attached she had become to him. I honestly figured she would be happy to not have to push him out of my lap for cuddles or run him off from stealing her greens.

Zills procedure ended up being much more then expected, he had to have 6 teeth extracted so he’s been doped up on pain meds. Amelia has been so caring and genial with hi since we brought him home. She actually groomed him for the first time, she cuddled up next to him and cleaned his ears ?
