        Hey all,

So Muffin’s stomach has been grumbly like crazy today. I tried to massage it and it didn’t feel at all hard or distended but I could feel some gas when it grumbles. He is eating a ton and although he might be slightly calmer than usual I wouldn’t say he’s particularly lethargic. Like I wouldn’t be at all concerned about his energy level if it wasn’t for the grumbling. I tried to give him liquid simethicone but he won’t take it from the dropper no matter how hard I try so I mixed it into his water. Does this sound like an emergency? Is there anything else I can do? It grumbles loudly every 1-2 minutes.

If he is eating, drinking, and pooping, then I agree it is gas but probably not emergency gas . The simethicone is a good idea. Does Muffin eat any veggies? You could try to put the simethicone on the veggie. Also, try to keep him moving/playing for a bit to help move the gas through the gut.

Don’t put the drops in his water, try putting the drops on a piece of lettuce or something.
