Cadbury has just adopted this new behavior where he sits up and looks at me then scratches the air. Is this normal? Is he wanting more attention?

Does he clean himself after he “scratches the air?

            Sometimes he does. Not always

If you were hand feeding him, he’s probably begging. I raised 2 cottontails who’s mom got eaten by a rattler. Those fat little babies were worse beggers than any dog I ever knew. They were formula fed with eyedroppers then bottles. Any time my mom, aka Grandma, passed their little hutch they’d stand up and wave at her like they were starving. Needless to say we had 2 fat and happy cottontails on our property and now we have their descendents.
