This is my first post, and I will try and make it short but to the point.

I got Steffie, an Alaskan Mix, from a shelter on February 27th, 2017. I adopted Ramon, a Lionhead mix, in February of 2016. The day after I got Steffie I began the bonding process. Although the rabbits have been making a lot of progress (I don’t have to try too hard to separate fights, not as much hair pulling), they, almost every bonding session, avoid/ignore each other. They are comfortable enough to eat in front of each other, and they recently laid out somewhat near each other during a session, but that is as far as it goes.

When I put them back I usually put Steffie in her condo first. After she is situated, I bring in Ramon. Ramon has <g class="gr_ gr_2094 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="2094" data-gr-id="2094">full</g>&nbsp;range of the room because he was there first, and every time he sees Steffie in his old condo he goes right up to her and he either lays down or he grooms her.&nbsp;</p>

It’s a bit confusing because he only pays attention to her when she is in the condo, and she does the same. Is there anyone who knows why, or has had a similar experience? I would love to know if so.

        Thank you!

Just some quick questions: Are they spayed and neutered? Are you doing bonding sessions in a 100% neutral area?
