9 weeks old is very young, I hope they weren’t separated from mum before 8 weeks old?

Alfalfa can be fed up to 4-5 months without being too rich but it’s harder to wean them off of it and onto Timothy/meadow hay. Alfalfa isn’t a necessity for young buns and I personally would give Timothy hay from the start to avoid picky eating as they grow up.

Orchard hay is good too, but I did start Luna on Timothy before I switched (switched because the orchard hay at the store is better quality in my area than the timothy available).
