I bought my Flemish giant a cat cardboard scratcher house. He loved it, but I’m noticing he is eating the thick corrugated panels rather than just the regular flat cardboard panels? Is this okay? I’m nervous it contains some sort of glue…and when I research this I get both yes and no … I am hoping someone can offer me some information..my rabbit loved the cat scratcher I got him so much- but because I dont know if he can even have it I took it away from him until I know otherwise

For reference it looks something like this:

Trying to figure out where you’re talking about (it’s late! ) I am assuming that if it’s stuck together they would use some sort of pet safe adhesive as it’s designed for cats? Rabbits chew all sorts of things and as long as your bun isn’t digesting it then I wouldn’t be too concerned

I saw cat scratchers at the store in all sorts of cool shapes and it hit me that they’d be perfect for my buns! They are chewers so I give them scratchers to dig and chew on

Thank you guys….as of right now I am still not letting my bun use the cat scratcher because he is actually eating some of it and too nervous lol until I can figure out what they use..i.e.glue or whatever
