We’re sorry to hear that your mummy has pneumonia, tell her that we hope she is feeling better soon.

We asked our mum about it and she thinks that pneumonia isn’t contagious, but sometimes the thing that has caused pneumonia can be (if it’s bacterial or something) but she said she doesn’t think it’s likely that it could be passed human to bunny.

If you have pneumonia you must get antibiotics and that would make you un-contagious really quickly. But pneumonia bacteria are more or less everywhere in the community, so I’d not worry about Olly. It could’ve started out as flu/bad cold and then these bacteria saw their chance and struck because the flu/cold had weakened your lungs.

I would worry about you, though. I hope you’ve got abx and a decongestant cough med and everything else you need.

I’ve had antibiotics, as I type this I am on my phone in the Doctors, the meds didn’t work, hopefully they can give me something else to try, I must remember to ask for the Pnemonia jab, well it was due back in January, easy to forget when it isn’t like a flu jab every year, ugh doctor call me through
