I have an 8 month old Holland lop named Oliver, he was neutered about a month ago. Sadly his potty habits haven’t improved much at all. He still pees on the couch, and there’s still lots of little poops all over my apartment. He was a free roam bunny, however I just put his cage back up to retrain him in hopes of improving his habits. So my big question is, should i let Oliver on my new couch? I love our morning cuddles but I just cant have him peeing on the couch. Also, what do I do about all the poops he leaves around my apartment when he is out of his cage? Do I pick them up and put them in his litter box, and do the same with the ones he leaves around the cage? This has to get better, my boyfriend is wanting to get rid him, so Oliver has to get better with his litter habits.

Bunny’s like to poop on soft things so if you don’t want him to pee on the couch, either put a blanket down or stop letting him up there. I would keep putting the poops in his litter tray – It’s quite sad that your boyfriend wants to get rid of him because he isn’t good with litter habits yet. He might need to be trained, not all buns become perfect after being neutered.
