  Hi there, just wanting to introduce myself as I finally made an account after browsing for so long. Here’s my two buns, Binky a dwarf lop x frenchie and the newest addition from the RSPCA, Monte a conti.

  Look at the ears on Monte! Im quite sure they’re larger than my Wick’s entire body! What beautiful rabbits you have. Both their colors and patterns look very nice. Welcome, welcome!

  Aw thank you, yes I had no intention of getting a giant I swear! But those ears and his smooshy face made me melt . Smudge was the most cuddliest rabbit I have ever had the pleasure of owning, we lost him to severe E.c last year and after grieving for so long it was time to find Binky a lovely new friend.

  Hi! I just clicked through your photos and that is an amazing set up you have for them. Was the outdoor hutch a commercial purchase or a DIY? If it’s a DIY then you’ve got skill!

  Bespoke made by welfare hutches! I’m okay with small d.i.y but I didn’t trust myself to attempt a shed and run set up, it was £590 with a small discount added for it being slightly over due.

  I’ve just had a peak too (didn’t know you could click on photos ) – now there are shed and there are SHEDS !!
  In fact, they are house rabbits, but YOU go spend time in THEIR house !!! LOL
  
  I do have a question, what litter do you use? – I have two big buns too and i am pulling my hair out experimenting and trying to get the right litter – I’m using woodstove pellets at the minute in double layered DIY trays and i don’t think my black bun likes it very much – she’s peeing outside of the tray every 1 in 3 days….
  and my sandy bun just spend all day digging in the tray – fine when I’m not at home….
  
  Shredded paper gets crushed too quickly with their weight and then they stand in wet paper…
  
  So I’m still looking for ideas..

  Yes their weight has been a problem with litter! I’m now using megazorb, topped with straw for comfort on their hocks So far it’s working nicely, very absorbent and once laid its not hard to scoop the poo out and the wee drains down onto the megazorb where it darkens in colour and hardens a bit
