        Hey!

I’ve had my rabbit Nathan about 6 weeks and if is roughly 3-4 months old. I am struggling with how to litter training him.
I keep my Nathan in my bed room with his cage and he’s out the most of the day appart from when I am in uni or work I would like to keep him out 24/7 in the future but he just constantly poo’s everywhere!
I don’t have a problem with him peeing he always goes in his litter tray but it’s just the pooing and I have no idea how to stop/ train him to go into his cage.

        Please help!

        Thank you ?

Hello and welcome to Binky Bunny! At Nathan’s age, I assume that he isn’t neutered. It can be difficult to fully litter train a rabbit that isn’t spayed or neutered. When they are unneutered, the often like to do territorial poops. It’s great that he’s peeing in the litter box, because pee can cause damage and require a lot of cleaning to get rid of stains and odor. Neutering Nathan should help greatly with his litter habits.

As Toby said he’s still pretty young, he will likely get much better about his poos once he is neutered. I had my girl spayed at 4 months old and now two months later we rarely every find a bean outside of her liter pan. I know it can be hard but remember he’s a baby still and will learn in time
