I have 2rabbits a brown hollenlop (misaki) and a albino dwarf (usami)
And we started to bond them in early February, there in a small enclosure
in my room and have had misaki trying to mount usami often.
He’s not found of this and 2weeks ago he fought back I got both of them on a car ride
To bring them down, repeated this 5 times after and they were back to huddling and grooming.
I work most mornings to evenings but I haven’t seen bad behavior,
But today I had the day off so I decided to check them and give them bunny messages.

Misaki I found 2big scabed over cuts in the upper inside of her right ear.
And usami just a small outside cut on his right ear.

So my question do these cuts on misaki look normal or infected?
(No puse no bleeding kind of inflamed but not worm) her behavior is also average and no signs of pain.

To me, the bite marks look normal and in the process of healing.

Signs of inflammation and infection are redness, excessive swelling, increased warmth, pain, seepage, foul odor.

            Hi Sam and welcome.
Are your bunnies together all the time?
            Are they both neuteured?
Do they both give grooms / licks to the other?

They certainly look like bite marks and you don’t want them in fights (at all) but certanily not when you are not there.
These could be a couple of weeks old, so could have happened during the bonding process, btu I just wanted to be sure
