        Hey all,

So Mosby lately has started being more distant. He used to let me pet him and feed him treats and now he wont let me pet him anymore. He is still curious and will come up to me but he wont let me pet him at all. I have also noticed occasionally he runs by me and makes a weird grunting noise. He is almost 5 months old and I am planning on getting him neutered this month. After his neuter will he be more loving? I just am a bit discouraged that all the sudden he is being less affectionate.

Maybe it’s hormones, although I’ve never heard this. Try to re-bomd with him to see if it helps. Please update me when he gets neutered

Yes, it would be the hormones. It could go the other way Wybunny, where he is being too affectionate.

He probably will come back to being the sweet, trusting bunny you know. Sometimes, as adult buns, they just won’t allow things they might have done as a baby too.

I have tried re bonding with him and he is not having it. He wont even take treats from me anymore, I dont know what is going on. He wont come near me at all, he acts like I have done something terrible to him. Occasionally he will come by and nudge me and then quickly run away. He loves all of my other animals & allows them to lick him and everything, but the second I try to touch him he wont have it. I am getting him neutered next Monday and I am really hoping that he becomes more loving. I enjoy him no matter what, but it would be so much better if he would even take treats from me. He just wont have it. Any other suggestions?
