        Hello everybody!
I have three bonded female bunnies, all neutered been together for over a year. Within the trio is my Netherland dwarf tinker. She is very dominant and always chases and nips the other two who are very submissive and just accept it. In November I fell in love with a beautiful bun who I had to bring gome
I was told he was a male but when I took him to get neutered it turns out he was a she!
I’ve had her neutered and left it a few weeks so she can heal and hormones can settle but it is still impossible. Tinker is trying to dominate and Alfie (the newbie) is fighting back. They are having bad fights and Alfie has had her ear cut. Tinker is now attacking the other two and stopping them from eating. I’m at a complete loss as to how to solve this! Please help!

This is why you dont bring in more rabbits without letting the previous ones pick out their newest friend… Once you bring in another bunny, you risk ruining the previous bonds, or having different split bonds instead

Youll have to stop right now and try to repair your trio first, if thats what you want; you can also try to make two seperate pairs then then putting the pairs together to bond. You might be met with the same response, though, because Tinker seems to only be able to bond with obviously submissive rabbits, and your newest bun is not

The trio are absolutely fine when Alfie isnt around, still snuggling down together and grooming but as soon as Alfie is in the room tinker just attacks them all. I’ve been advised to cage them next to each other so they can get used to each other?

Yes, prebonding is an absolute must. Cages side by side for atleast 2 weeks, and then have a month where you swap litter boxes+toys+water bowls every other day. If your alpha bun is still angry at everyone, continue with the swapping until she calms down. After about 2 months total, if everyone is calm, you can try bonding them again in a neutral area
