My 11 month old (On Wednesday) Flemish Giant boy has an abscess on his face, it’s about one inch by one inch and I am taking him to the vet on Tuesday, but I’m really scared for him. I scrounge up all the money I could to pay for his trip but I am honestly so stressed and nervous that I haven’t been able to sleep. Any advice would really come in handy and we’d both be great full! !!

Unfortunately I can’t offer any advice from personal experience, but I can say the more information you can provide to your vet, the better. I’d recommend writing a timeline and noting your rabbits behaviors, what interactions have occurred with that now-abscessed area, etc.. if you outline it well, perhaps your vet will pin this to your rabbit’s chart so he/she can review further after you leave. It’s also a good exercise so you can most accurately recall the chain of events. It’s most certainly a nerve wracking time. Best of luck and all the best to and your rabbit!!
