<<<My bun had bright pink skin at the base of his ears so I brought it up to the vet and he looked it over and it goes up onto one ear as well.</p>

He said its not infected and to just keep an eye on it. >>>

        UPDATE

Tonight while getting him to do his tricks I see he has some of this irritation in the top of one of his hind feet. Behind the nails and up a little bit of the foot.

He grooms regularly, his cage and x-pen is clean and litter changed at least twice a week usually more. I know if I put anything on the foot he will lick it off so Im not doing that. The ear and neck are the same.

I have dogs in the house=currently no fleas. The dogs will start their flea control in March. (Maybe Bun too) But I need to figure this out. I hope it won’t set back his neuter date of March7th.

Oh, someone on here said something about maybe ear mites. How would he get ear mites? (Do they come in hay?) I have never had to use hay before. If bun did have ear mites can my dogs get them from him? Dogs are fine…no itchy ears or anything. Just wondering.

        Thanks

Sounds more like mites than fleas.

I ordered some Revolution for kittens. Should be in this week. I rather be safe.
His neuter is the 7th. How close to that can the revolution safely be given?

I don’t think it will hurt anything.
