When we are told circling should be stopped, are we referring to all circling, or just the biting/nipping/fur pulling type of circling? Is mutual sniffing in a circling motion the same and should therefore be stopped? Please let me know, I’m very worried…

Yes, that needs to be stopped. Usually that is the start of a possible mount fight, or biting/nipping fight. both can easily escalate

From what I have seen on YouTube, it seems to be more courtship circling? I’m not really sure but I’ll definitely stop it from now on.

Is one circling the other, or are they face to butt circling together? If one is circling the other, then thats usually the ‘mating dance’. Youd want to stop that anyway, and take note that the circling bunny might be going through a hormonal phase. If they are circling together, then that is a sign a fight might happen

They are face to butt circling, the both of them. I’ll definitely stop it. Is this a step back in regards to their bond? Do they need to be supervised 24/7 again?

My guys’ circling is as a resultfof Henry’s attempts at sneaking up, putting his head on Zou’s bum then making an attempt to move forward a bit more (wink wink) and then her moving forward away as if to say “get outta here, we’re an old married couple now, youre not ‘aving any of that”. They circle because they can’t go too far in a straight line in my ever reducing lounge area….LOL.
When Henry believes he is the top bun (hah!) he leaves her alone, marking the end of playtime with a binky off to light a cigarette and Zou lays down regally, wondering what she’ll cook them for dinner…..
