        Hey all,
I adopted my sweet Muffin a couple weeks ago. He lives in a large cage with a litter box and hutch and has a few hours of freedom in my room every day. He is a fuzzy, long haired holland lop and absolutely EVERYTHING gets stuck in his fur. He always has tiny pieces of hay and poop stick to his behind and back legs. It’s especially bad because as a baby (9 weeks old) he eats alfalfa hay and the tiny pieces just end up all over him. His fur was quite long so I trimmed it and have been brushing him but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? Thanks so much!!

I have a long haired rabbit too, and she always has things stuck in her hair! I just brush her everyday and try to get it all out. I also switched from using bedding in her cage to just blankets, and that seemed to help a bit. It also may be better once he’s off alfalfa hay

Thanks so much for responding! Do you trim your bun’s fur? And if so, how often?
