Lily is 18 months old and a week ago she just started going to the bathroom everywhere. She has enough room to move around in her cage, we clean her litter boxes at least once a day and change the litter at least once a week. She was spayed when she was 4 or 5 months old. We let her out of her cage every day, 2 hours at a minimum. We’ve bunny proofed everything, we even fixed the fince so she can go outside, which she loves. We’ve had her since she was a month old and the only time we’ve had any problem with her that was similar was right before we got her spayed, but after that she used her litter boxes like she should, minus a few pellets here and there when we let her out of her cage. Is there anything I can do?

Is it poop or pee? Or both?

Have their been any changes to the household? Any new pets etc? Did you change the litter or litter tray recently?

If not, and she’s peeing everywhere, she could have a urinary tract infection, often that manifests as a loss of litter habits. Is she still jumping and running around well? Sometimes bunnies that are sore (usually older buns) have a hard time jumping in/out of their trays so may stop using them.
