        Was looking in my rabbits ear and saw a small scab was wondering what it might be I’m new to rabbits so any information would be great

          Rabbits scratch at and clean out the ear with their hind feet so it’s worth checking over the nails that they are not overly long or sharp.

          Ear mites in rabbits look like dark brown scabs and normally start down in the base of the outer ear. A bad infestation will develop thick crusts. So do keep checking the ear for any more scabs developing. Since it is just one you spotted, it’s more likley from a small injury.
