So I’ve noticed this powdery, brown substance in my rabbit’s cage now and again, and figured it was pellets that got a little wet or something so I didn’t worry. Today my other rabbit was on the bed with me and when I put him back in his cage I saw the same stuff on the bed. Does anyone know what this could be? I’ve looked up pictures of different health conditions and I haven’t seen anything remotely similar. The reason I find it so strange is I’ve seen it with both rabbits.

          Flea dirt?

Is it all together, or just scattered little bits of brown? As suggested it could be flea dirt, otherwise maybe crumbled up fecal poops if they’ve partly chewed them up and spat them out.

oh the crumbled fecal poops would make sense! Every time i’ve seen it it’s been in a clump, and i’ve sprayed them both with flea and tick.
