  Buttercup will often sniff Peanut’s butt quite intently, I mean she really gets her nose in there and he just lays down while it happens. It doesn’t bother him unless she tickles him by accident which makes him jump lol. Peanut will also sniff her butt intently but Buttercup hops away, he’ll follow and sniff again, she’ll hop away etc. After a few attempts at sniffing her butt, he’ll stop and groom her (sometimes she asks for grooming, sometimes he just does it) Anyway, he doesn’t try to mount her anymore (but he used to sniff her before mounting her so I think that’s why she hops out of the way) He just sniffs her or digs to get her to move so he can flop or something.
  
  Just wondering how often do your bonded bunnies sniff each other’s bums intently? As in, more than just a quick “oh its you!” sniff.

  Lol he jumps . Luna will give Oreo the Cat a butt sniff every once in a while, but I try to shoo her away else Oreo will give her a light de-clawed paw to the head.

  She sometimes tickles his feet with her whiskers and makes him jump too! He does it to her as well. Honestly they’re as bad as each other lol.
  
  The intense butt sniffing tho, it’s weird, it’s like he wants to mount her but he doesn’t actually go through with it

  Frank does this to Cinders, or tries (she hops off). He tries to get his head right unde there, it’s rather awkward to watch Haha

  HHa I’d forgotten I’d made this thread! Well for an update if anyone is interested…Buttercup still shoves her head up Peanut’s bum and takes a big whiff He tolerates it mostly. Buttercup however will not tolerate being the receiver of such sniffing still, she either hops out of the way or chases him
