I put a damp sponge in her cage the other day and she LOVED it, she would suck and flip it over and all that fun stuff, But then I got worried that in the heat of the moment she would bite off some and swallow it. Are sponges a problem? She loved it so much that now I feel bad for teasing her like that. :/

I wouldn’t let her have the sponge anymore as they are not good to ingest, but maybe you could substitute it with a different water-like toy so that she won’t miss the sponge too much .

I wouldn’t do it in case of ingestion. It’s not worth the risk.
