Can someone just tell me if these are ok to give to Charlie? I picked them up today after her little episode with gas last night just so I’m prepared. I keep seeing everyone say to get ones with only simethicone but I went to two pharmacies and couldn’t find one with only that. Don’t want to give her something she can’t have and want to make sure these are ok so if they’re not I can find something else so I’m prepared if it happens again

        Thanks

        !

The brand I use is Mylicon and it has those same other inactive ingredients. I wouldn’t be surprised if they all have those other ingredients.

Should be fine. They all have “other ingredients”.

I agree they all have “other ingredients”. I have Infacol and Minifom.

Sorry that may have been me that said drops with only simethicone, there will always be other inactive ingredients to form the medicine but I meant artificial flavours and colours etc.

The usual instructions are to give 1cc (1ml) every hour for three hours followed by 1cc every three to eight hours as needed. That is for simethicone at 20mg/ml suspension. Yours is however 20mg/0.3ml so you only need to give 0.3ml at those intervals.

Azerane, I have infacol which is 40mg/ml Simethicone. But it has orange flavouring. It’s all I could find. Would this be okay? It says sugar, alcohol and colourant free.

I’m not 100% sure, everything I’ve read about simethicone for rabbits just always says to make sure to get the kind that’s not flavoured. The orange flavouring might be safe and it might not be. If it’s listed on the ingredients you could try searching it with rabbits.

I use Ovol and it’s mint flavoured. Used that brand for many years.

Sarah, I think Q8 uses infacol. It seems to be the type most frequently used by bunny-owners in the UK. We don’t have it here, I bought mine at Tesco’s last year.

Thanks Bam, I will keep an eye out for any unflavoured simethicone but it’s good to know I can use what I’ve got if I need to. I got mine from Morrisons.

I’m also in the UK and found it impossible to find unflavoured infacol – Bramble is not a massive fan of the orange flavour but it seems to be all it comes in
