        I dropped off Rookie at his surgery this morning….still waiting….the wait is killing me. I had such a hard time to give him up this morning and then he looked back with those eyes at me of “no don’t let me go!” and I was like ” nooo! come back! I’m sorry!!!”

        jokes aside…I am so worried.

              Tooth abscess x2
              Just got the call from the vet…surgery went well….but they are not sure how to treat the infection yet as Rookie has been on Penicillin for 5 weeks with little results. They will wait for culture before putting beads into the sites so they can get the right beads with the right antibiotics.
              Rookie lost two of his molars.

                {{{Rookie!}}}
                Big day.
                Sorry that he lost some teeth. On the upside, hopefully there now won’t be recurring abscesses.

                  Now the big thing is keeping the infection at bay.

                        So rookie actually only lost one tooth that was in two pieces….yes very relieved to have the surgery out of the way…but now I just hope this won’t become a chronic issue and that he can fight off the infection….
