Hi! I’d be in love too with a face like that!

Here are some general tips to start with:
              – Safety: tuck away electrical cords
              – Diet: hay is #1 but you can slowly introduce different veggies, offer both a water bottle and a water bowl
              – Health: get familiar with your bun’s poo (how it looks compared to a sudden change which can help put you on notice that there may be a health issue or some gas), know the signs of G.I. stasis so that you can act quickly when it happens

YES !!  The main and MOST important advice is to keep him under lock and key and safe from BB members who will want to steal him !!! He’s SO cute !!!

I’m serious – already 4 or 5 of us (*ahem*) have plans to sneak him into out pockets !!

                Welcome !!

Too late *giggles and runs off hugging Jack to her ample chest*

He’s darling. Make friends with his poo. It’ll be a great way to monitor his health

                    Ohmigosh, those ears!!! Eeee!

The truth about Bunnies. You are going to spend the next several years arguing with a temperamental, stubborn, sneaky ball of fuzz. You will question why humans are at the top of the food chain and not bunnies. You will come to realize the devil has floppy ears. And you know what? YOU WILL LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT! It will all be worth it for the first binky, the first flop, the first lick on your hand. Your friends and family may question your sanity (and rightly so) but you will love that sneaky fluffball with all your heart.

Haha!! You all totally made my day!! I don’t know why I’ve never had rabbits before!! I’m in love!! I may have to get stronger locks on my doors though! ?
He’s not super interested in his pellets. Is that normal? He loves oats but you all told me those are just for treats occasionally.
You all are awesome! I will be checking poop too!! ?

Hay is number one. Pellets are good for ensuring a good balance of nutrients. Fresh leaves and the odd veg or fruit are yummy and nutritious enrichment foods. Some buns are picky with pellets or require time to adjust to a new pellet. As long as he eats lots of hay, you’re golden

Oh gosh NO – please don’t – he’s far too young to die of suffocation – although he may go with a smile on his face….

Mrsbd : be joyful that Jack doesn’t jump on pellets – mine do and they’d MUCH prefer those than hay – although they looooove fresh grass, so I can’t wait for Spring to come so I can start chopping it again !!
