Hello. I’m new to the forum, however been a proud bunny owner for about 8 years now to various little bundles of fluff. I currently have 2 bunnies. One is 4 years old and has always been the most laid back and loving bunny I have ever met. He has been bonded with 2 lady bunnies in his time, the first was his own age and they were joined by an invisible bungee chord I’m sure! Unfortunately we lost her last year due to a stroke and heven became a very depressed bunny and at times aggressive (nothing like his normal self) so we decided to get anot her bunny to bond him with and she came from a rescue centre. The bonding went smoothly and after 8 weeks they were living happily together and he went back to being his old lovable self. However, lately he has become a rogue! I don’t know whether he’s showing off or is just bored. He’s started nipping us if we don’t play with him and when we do play with him he pees on us or the furniture. We’ve made more of the home bunny proof so they have a wider space to play in and I can understand him peeing in there initially but not everywhere he’s used to!? My boyfriend finds it funny also as bunny only seems to target me! Any ideas?

Nipping like that is communication, and dominance. He is telling you that he will bite you if that’s what it takes to get you to play with him. He is probably a little lonely. Peeing on you could also be dominance (I think), or health, or emotional. I’d take him to the vet for a checkup, and then keep him off the furniture untill his peeing gets under control again. I’d make some changes for his loneliness/boredom, and see how it goes.
