Had to take Buttercup to the vets this evening, tried to get Peanut in the carrier with her but he wasn’t having any of it. Decided to take Buttercup on her own as time was an issue and didn’t want to delay Buttercup’s treatment. Anyway, we put her back in the living room and Peanut immediately sniffed her head and ears. Then when she was under the sideboard  (their favourite chill out spot) he sniffed her head and gave her one lick on the top of her head. They are now laying together. Obviously you guys know, they are a newly bonded pair so just wondering if there’s anything I should look out for as they were temporarily separated? (For just over an hour) Thanks guys.

You can try to rub her down with a soft toy if they have any. Usually, you would have seen if there was an issue by now, as it would have likely been caused by her slight scent change. But since he has sniffed her and didnt react badly, I would assume they are alright

Phewie indeed. I couldn’t put them both in one carrier anyway. But they’re BOTH going to any vet visit without arguments !!! I’m not risking that !!
              so glad for you
