hello! my name is Danielle and last week i brought a new bunny to the family , a two months old  male (not sure what breed he is) . i already have an amazing female lion king ..she is 7 months old and spayed . we put the male bunny in her old cage near her inclouser and let him out a couple of times a day to see how they feel togther.. he seemd very happy from the first moment and always doing binkies all over the house she on the other hand looks a bit scard. they never fight but he tries to hamp her and just running after her happily and she is running away.. now i put his cage inside her “room” and when he is out he is just chin rubbing everything hers.. i dont know if thats ok or not.. sometimes they lay next to each other and groom on anthor but most of the time he is running towrds her and she is “walking away” is that a game or she is scard?should i let him stay on her bed ? her happines is the most important thing for me ..i will be greatfull for your help!

        p.s

I strongly recommend you wait until after he is neutered and fully recovered with time (several weeks) for his hormones to calm down before letting them have any more time together. A hormonal male can cause serious fights and you def don’t want your little girl to get hurt.

I suggest continue housing them next to each other where they can see and smell each other (but not so close they can bite each other through the bars).

For some great beginner bonding info, in the meantime, check out the Bonding Advice in the Bunny Info section here on BB.
