Okay, so my sister’s bun, Arthur, was in starter cage for a few months and because he has outgrown it we recently got him a larger one. It is set up the same way his smaller one was, but for some reason he will not go in his box. He poops every where but there and I’ve been noticing him moving his box. We keep putting it back but he keeps moving it and peeing there. Any ideas about what’s going on?

Is Arthur neutered? When rabbits mature and enter puberty, that can affect their litter habits. You also need to make sure that the litter box is large enough. Some are too small for mature rabbits, especially those corner boxes.

Maybe he wants a different view… LOL. If he is moving it and peeing in the new place, then you have to go with what he wants.

I attach mine to the cage bars…. (drilled hole in it and put metal garden tie through the hole) it stops moving. Simple

Definitely a big and clean litter box is also important. When it’s just time to clean it out and I don’t get there in time… mine pee by the side of it !!!!
