LOL, yesterday I was cleaning up because someone from the care agency was coming, I cleaned Olly’s cage and pen, then I was cleaning the sawdust off the bedroom floor and caught a plastic bag under the brush and the vacuum cleaner made a loud noise and started smoking, I knew the band had broken, I said to Olly. “Silly cleaner, Mummy has to order new bands now, oh well housework over, silly machine.” I stood there and did my usual bit which is standing there and pointing at the vacuum cleaner and telling it that it was going to get a bashing and a real telling off.

I went to make myself a drink and when I came back in the bedroom, Olly had got out of his pen and was boxing and kicking the vacuum cleaner and having a right go at it.

Haha! Olly waited until no Ladies were present before he got into fisticuffs. A true Gentlebun.

lol what a funny bunny   Thats so cute.

Ruby used to pull the plug out of the wall.  Cotton ignores it pretty much.  Unless the nozzle gets too close then he slaps at it n moves.

Ruby ignored it.  Then she would sneak over n chew the wire a little.

That’s funny. 3 of my 4 are scared of the vacuum, although they have learned that it won’t eat them… but if I leave them alone with it, I’m convinced they woudl chew the electric chord, the hose tube, etc…

Rumball is the only one of mine that’s not bothered by the vacuum. I don’t think he can hear it.

My pair aren’t too bothered by the vacuum, they’re wary and I doubt they like the loud noise, but they’re not terrified. They just sit there watching, but they don’t run and hide or thump etc.

Lol, brave little Olly. Breintje will usually avoid the vacuum, unless it’s very close to him. Then he’ll nip and lunge at the brush ^_^

Thanks BT! I didn’t realise. It should work now. It’s an older video of Rumball. I was shocked just now to see this was taken in 2013! Where does the time go?!

Also, just had a really quick browse, how cute is baby TimTim!

I remember the first time I vacuumed after Patton came home. I thought it might freak him out, so I put him in his pet taxi and set it outside on the patio. Later, I started to try leaving him inside to see if he would be okay with the noise and commotion.

Long story short, nowadays the only danger about vacuuming with Patton is that if I’m not careful to avoid him, HE will get caught in the vacuum because he just keeps laying there!

What is a Pet Taxi? We live in England, a Pet Taxi here is a Taxi that will pick up pets to go to the vets, usually a van, so the dogs don’t chew the taxi car’s seats, or have an accident on the seat like tinkle.
