My mother in law insists on keeping rat poison in her basement and when I went over last my shoes were wet and I had to take them off and walk around with socks on in her rat poisoned basement, when it was time to leave I put my shoes on without thinking too much about it, and immediate took. Y shoes and socks off at my front door. My question is if I walked around with a fresh pair of socks on that I wore in those shoes but forgot to immediately take off before walking on the carpet in their play room, will they be okay? Or am I “tracking” the poison around my house?

Was the rat poison some kind of bait? Like D-con?
