We currently have a neutered holland lop but a rescue near by just put up a litter of baby rabbits up for adoption and we were thinking about adopting a doe. The rabbit is still way too young to be spayed. Could I start introducing my neutered male to the unspayed bunny or should I wait a few months until I am able to get the new bunny spayed?

You will want to wait until she is spayed. Itll also give her time to get used to her new home

With rabbits females are often quite dominant, especially when they’re hormonal. Best keep them separate until a few weeks after her spay.

Ok thanks everyone! I wasn’t sure if females started displaying that dominant behavior before they were of age. Right now the bunnies are 7 weeks so it would be a long time before we could get her spayed. Maybe just having them sharing the same room in separate cages at night will allow them to at least get used to each other scent.
