Ever seen a dog and rabbit be best friends? They both drink out of the same bowl, they both eat carrots. Zeke and Gus have bonded together in a unique way. Gus it a Jack Russel Terrier, which are bred to hunt rabbits. The only thing Gus does it hunts for rabbit pellets..  I don’t know how they bonded, but they just did…

That’s lovely! My dog wants to chase wild bunnies outside (I definitely don’t let her), but she knows Bam is family. Dogs are as a rule good at making those distinctions. Many dogs live together with cats but will still chase cats they don’t know. And all dogs (and rabbits) love company!

They look lovely together. My dog too hunts for rabbit pellets and kale and fennel…everything a bunny can eat a dog can and should eat, except hay, that’s my dog’s motto =)
