Hello! I am new here and I am taking care of a bunny a friend could no longer keep. He was from a pet store and she had him for less than a year. I have been researching and I believe I have been taking good care of him. We have been together for a little over a week and he is actually becoming pretty friendly and comfortable with me. I do not try to pick him up or chase him ever, I always let him come to me and he often enjoys being pet. A little while ago I had to lift him because he hopped onto something I thought he would not be able to get over, but did ! (It has been fixed) and he would have been in an area that is not yet bunny proof. Anyway the point is he scratched at me for a bit before calming down and I looked down to see a bit of blood on my boob! There is a long scratch that drew some blood right down my boob and the bottom of it is a little deep. I immediately washed it with soap and water and even put some alcohol on it (not the best I know but I was a bit flustered.) Anyway I know this may sound incredibly silly to you guys but should I be worried or anything? Does anyone have experience? Does it usually leave a scar? Since it’s on my boob and the skin is so sensitive? ? It stopped bleeding pretty quickly. I am very sorry if this sounds ridiculous. Also, I of course am not angry with the sweet bunny and I normally would not have even tried to pick him up at this point but I felt he might have been in danger.

It might leave a little discoloring for a few months at the most, unless you scar easily Keep it clean and treat it like a normal wound
