Wondering how worried I need to be. She is only 3 months old. I love her so much.

            Hi Bonnebell-bunny

Is your rabbit eating and toileting normally? It would be a good idea to clean out her habitat and litterbox so you will know as soon as she toilets.

Does she have plenty of hay to eat? Is she acting unusual at all?

Hay and water should help push through anything they’ve ingested that is not food but if she is acting off, you will need to take her to a vet in case there is a blockage.

I hope she will be okay!!

Thank you very much, jerseygirl! She seems to be eating, drinking and toileting so far. I tried to attach a picture, but I am mobile and also new to this site and the picture apparently didn’t work.

Are we allowed to post links? She ate the paw off of a plush animal pencil topper thing. Cheapo arcade prize that says made in China. Looked similar to this: http://www.google.com/search?q=plush+animal+pencil+toppers&client=safari&hl=en-us&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiMldDm1NzRAhVL4yYKHbXtCtQQ_AUICCgC&biw=375&bih=559#imgrc=Dtn7p8-hPfsGJM%3A

That link is fine. It gives us a great idea of what she ate.

It sounds as if it was only a small area so hopefully it won’t cause any issues. Some rabbits get away with eating a lot of what they shouldn’t, and are fine. But stay vigilant as not all have iron guts!! It’s really good that she is acting normal. Keep encouraging hay. Putting some in spots she doesn’t normally have it could entice her to eat more. Sticking some in toys and cardboard rolls etc.

You are very helpful! I’ll keep everyone updated. I’ll def be encouraging hay! I promise I didn’t give this to her to play with. She nabbed it away from my little girl’s toy box and ran with it and then it was missing a paw in 1.5 seconds. I don’t know how she even swallowed it. Scared me to bits, so i searched out and made this account here.

Bunnies can be notorious for this sort of thing, no matter how much we bun-proof our homes. Hide your TV remote controls, they love the buttons!

Please do keep us updated on how she is doing.

I’m sure she’ll be fine, just check she’s still eating her hay! My two eat anything they can get their teeth in to and especially love plastic rubbery things and they’re still going strong!
