        Hi all,

First time posting so please excuse me doing anything wrong here!!

I read this forum for all my problems but I’m now conflicted by reading so many different stories about hair loss…so here goes..

Tonight I noticed Teddy lifted his head and there was a large patch of fur missing under his neck.
Now I’ve been through the ringer with Teddy recently, he had a moult which myself and vthe get believe caused him to suffer from GI stasis for a few days- he did lose a bit of weight but whilst I was nursing him I had to force feed him, and give him metacam and emiprid for about a week which he absolutely hated.

He is better now (I believe) his poo’s are smaller than they used to be but he is eating normally now.

So I’m wondering, could the hair loss be down to the recent stress he’s been under (he is a very very sensitive rabbit!) or his recent moult? I am grooming him daily and do still find hair loss or could it be much worse

His coat is strong and healthy so I do doubt it to be mites, I’ll try and upload a pic if I can!

        Abi x

Does Teddy chin things a lot to mark them? Sometimes rabbits who chin objects quite often end up with a bare patch of skin under the chin/throat where they have been rubbing it on everything.

Otherwise, if the area is also damp, I would consider teeth issues. Otherwise he could just have shed a patch of fur there that hasn’t grown back yet.
