I have two bunnies.  They are brother and sister, they share a cage.  They are about 9 months old.  Nugget was fixed a few months ago.  Recently Nugget started losing clumps of fur.  His sister Rosey would pull them out.  Now his belly is completely bald.  He is acting fine.  Eating and drinking.  Still cuddles and runs around playing.  The are out of the cage most of the day and go in at night.  I am not sure what is going on.

          Is Rosey spayed?

You need to separate them pronto before the fur pulling leads to a fight. Then get the female spayed. Wait a month and then start the bonding process. If you can, separate them so that they are unable to get to each other (obviously) but can still see and smell one another.

It’s not very nice having to separate them when it seems they’re doing fine but in this case there is obviously something going on and for their safety,  you need to split them.

Unfortunately you need to separate them until you can get your girl spayed. Rabbits cant be kept in pairs unless both are desexed or they will fight, and it can get quite nasty

Fur pulling can also easily dry out or rip the skin due to rabbits having very thin skin. His bald spots will need to be monitored to make sure they dont dry out or start to scab

Bun buns officially separated. Nugget is comfortable in his own home. Rosey is getting fixed in three weeks. Thanks for the help.
