Okay guys- we are about to be home owners!! (Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn’t fall through!) Problem is we aren’t taking their condo with us. Good news is they will have their own bedroom! I’m concerned with how to adjust them to it. The room is carpeted so my main concern is potty habits. We really weren’t planning on pulling up the carpet but I don’t want them to ruin it or eat it. I also don’t know how we are going to keep them from biting the molding and trim. We are SUPER excited to create a bunny paradise but just need to not damage the walls and carpet.

And for those of you who have moved buns before- how do I make it the least stressful on them? They’ll have their same blanketo and toys and litter boxes but other than that I’m not sure how to transition them.

Congrats! It’s so exciting to finally own your first home! I used NIC grid cubes to barricade my bunny from attacking the baseboards. However those little garden fences that they sell at a dollar store would probably work just fine. As for the carpet… I would honestly get a cheap area rug that could maybe cover most of the carpet underneath? My rabbit room has new hardwood so I put puppy pee pads around the litter boxes in case Ellie has an accident or misses for whatever reason.
