        Hi everyone!!

I finally found a husbun for Bramble. I’m afraid it will be an arranged marriage so fingers crossed everything will go well.

He’s from the RSPCA and has had a rough start with an overly aggressive child so i know he is very timid and extremely hand shy. Im hoping Bramble will bring him out of his shell.

My question is…. on adopting Noel (soon to be Rambo – my partner’s choice ) what questions should i ask the rspca?

I can think very basically of what food he’s on, likes, dislikes but im not really sure what else to ask.

        Any ideas??

It’s so nice that you are adopting a bunny that will now be in a great home and that Bramble will have a companion!

I’ve adopted several rabbits from shelters, but the people for the most part were clueless about rabbits. Other than finding out the age of the rabbits, and their background if they knew I, I didn’t ask any other questions. So, I’m not sure what else you could ask besides what you’ve listed.

I hope that Bramble and Rambo will bond quickly and easily!

Ask about vaccinations. Both the myxo-RHD and the RVHD 2.

You can also ask if he’s had any other medication, like a dewormer or f ex ivermectin/ selamectin.

We’ll love to hear more about this, of course. So exciting!!!

Can the RSPCA not do a speed date on site with her ?
I know they won’t adopt out unless they know it’s to go with another bun… but still…

Have YOU seen him and had a little stroke?

No!! I’ve not seen him at all :/ I’m travelling quite far to collect him. I was waiting for another Nethie for a long time and had notified the rescues in driving distance. They notified me just before Christmas that he had arrived.

I’ve seen lots of lovely videos and pics but I haven’t been able to meet him yet. I have arranged with the RSPCA that if they don’t bond after a few weeks we can reconsider and see if there is a different match. He is fostered with several other rabbits and has not been aggressive so it’s all on Bramble!

He was the pet of a young child and was given to the RSPCA because he was ‘vicious’. His name was Jaws :s I know he was very under weight, bruised and scared of hands bless him. He’s been in foster care for a few weeks and was neutered over Christmas. The foster lady says he’s never bitten at all. He’s much more relaxed and friendly and an altogether different bun. I’ve seen loads of pics of him relaxing with her family and he’s such a sweetie now. Fingers crossed! Xxx
