My daughter and I have three rabbits and she moved 30 miles away. She took two and I have one that I’m afraid is lonely now since they’ve been together almost six years. We had an idea to rotate the bunnies every month so we both get to enjoy them. Does anyone know if that is bad for them? I know they get used to their surroundings and don’t want to do it if it will cause a negative effect. Thanks for your input. Samantha

Were the 3 of them bonded?

It would not be good to move them around so often. If they were all bonded, the one who was left behind might go into a depression from losing their friends. It would be best if all three strayed together to ensure they are all happy. That would mean you and your daughter have to decide who gets all three, and the person left without will have to visit to see them (not move them around)

Whomever doesn’t end up with the three buns should adopt another bun or two!

Bonded rabbits shouldn’t be apart. Maybe you could adopt another rabbit and bond it with the rabbit you have. Then no one would be rabbitless and no one will feel lonely.
