I have always either hosed her bottom down (when its warm) or wiped it off with a warm towel whenever i clean her cage — is there a better way to get the bottom clean.

Yes! Vinegar does an INCREDIBLE job at cleaning off those stains that rabbit urine tends to leave. I keep my vinegar in a little spray bottle, and let it sit for a few seconds and scrub it before wiping it off. Then I follow up with water, also in a spray bottle, to remove vinegar residue. I also like that vinegar is somewhat more natural than a chemically cleaning product

Agreed. Vinegar is great. I use it to clean lots of places in my house but especially in the bunny room.

50/50 vinegar water is all I use as well. Bunny cage, litter box, parrot cage and cage tray. It’s amazing stuff and the only thing I will use around my little fuzzballs.

                Hi Amelia!

I also use vinegar water (50/50) and it does wonders. It is also safe for bunnies .

Another 50/50 white vinegar/water in a spray bottle user here. Make sure to get a heavy duty or chemical resistent spray bottle — vinegar will kill the sprayer on one that isn’t.
