        Hi everyone

Charlie is 11 weeks old and is a mini lop, he’s settled in really well and is really sweet and curious, just the last couple of days he has taken to peeing on myself , boyfriend and best friend, he gets settled down and then pees!!

was just wondering if anyone could offer me any insight as to why he’s doing it and what I should do about it to prevent it? I have been putting him back in his cage immediately after he has done it and not letting him back out until a time after, he doesn’t usually pee and poop out side the cage whilst roaming about

        thanks !

At 11 weeks of age, Charlie is likely starting to enter puberty. Puberty, and the hormones that come with it, can make changes to a rabbit’s behavior and to their bathroom habits. Charlie may not stop this new behavior until he has been neutered and a few weeks have passed since his surgery.

Is he sitting on the laps and then peeing?

Territory pees. He claims you as his As mentioned, it should stop after neutering but you have to wait for his boys to drop before you can neuter

Bilbo has done this twice in the last two weeks >.< he peed on me and then on my boyfriend. He also has been leaving piles of poop everywhere especially on my lap when my boyfriend is over. It will probably stop if you neuter him. I'm getting Bilbo snip-snipped at the end of the month lol I'm hoping this stops his behavior because the poops he leaves on me stink. Although I hope he still rubs his cheek on me to claim me XD that part is cute.

I’ve been having issues with pooping on my sofa. This is more for Krista. I decided to pay really close attention for a bit. 1. If my bun hasn’t had what HE determines is the proper amount of attention that day, if i talk on the phone while in his presence he poops all over the sofa. 2. Yesterday i was gone from home MUCH longer than i thought i would be. I left him roaming as i normally do (but not when gone this long). And you guessed it, i came home to a sofa full of poo. And he was so mad he peed too. And he was really mad because he did it all again after i cleaned it up. So this is definitely his sign he feels neglected and lonely.

I guess it’s his only form of communication. 2 days ago and today…no poo/pee shenanigans as I’ve been home and under our normal routine. They seem to be huge creatures of habit.
