So both Peanut and Buttercup do the usual nose bopping on me, and sniffing me but this morning I was sat in Peanut’s half of the living room talking to him (lol) and he pressed his nose up against me and sort of rubbed his nose on me. It was different to the usual sniffing. What does this mean?

I’m especially curious because yesterday we decided to take one of the doubled up partition panels away (so there was one small section that wasn’t doubled up but still partitioned) to see how Peanut and Buttercup would react. They usually try and shove their noses through and sniff or rub their noses a little so we thought we’d try this. Anyway, Peanut nipped her once and then (I thought) he did it again but after seeing what he did to my leg earlier, I’m wondering if he actually just nose rubbed her instead? It looked exactly the same, I just assumed he’d nipped her because I didn’t think he’d rub her nose so intently but then he did that to my leg lol.

        What does this mean?

Btw, apologies for making so my threads. Bunnies are very complex!

I believe it is a marking/claiming behavior they will do to anything they think is theirs! I guess it’s a good thing if they do it to us.

When Amelia is grooming me she sits with she nose pressed a right against my face, usually near my mouth or nose occasionally giving me kisses. No idea what it means, but she does it daily

I think it’s still sniffing. Thor puts his nose close to my mouth like Amelia does, and just holds it there. I think he is keeping me in suspense because he’s trying to woo me with a bunny kiss
Okay, the REAL reason may have more to do with if I use new skincare. He will pause when he gets close to my face.
