Hi how is everyone does you bunnies thump when dogs bark on tv?

Been a while since I been on.   Made it thru hurricane Matthew just fine.  I over prepare.  Dont evacuate cuz Cotton stresses and goes off food these days.  Plus barkin freaks him out.  Even dogs on tv he thumps I have to mute it lol.  He is so funny.  

Cotton is 9 1/2.  Doing really good too.  He has arthritis and used to miss the couch he would jump on it and slide off his rear didnt make it.  Vet gave him Oxbow pain treat stuff for it.  Nope hates it.  My friend does herbs.  I get herbs from her for his arthritis and works wonders.  He doesn’t care to play outside like he used to tho.  He used to wiggle and squirm to get down and play but not anymore.  If I put him down he runs a bit I have to slow him down so he doesnt hurt himself  but I dont take him out anymore.  He seems achy when I do.  Cant have that.  

I have been on fb a lot and just havent come here.  I live in my own apt 3 years now.  My ex is across the street.  We were still together per say but recently I told him I am no longer muslim and he told me the marriage is annulled unless I go back to islam told him that isnt happening.  HE has ignored my calls and never calls back even if its important so I  dont call him or his family his loss.  I have moved own already.  Cant live your life by a book but his choice  deal  with it.  Besides i have someone closer to my age now and its so refreshing too.  lol.  I dont waste any time      getting on with my life.  

I have been very happy with my own little place.  My friends and neighbors tell me that all the time.  No more of those funny clothes.  I wont have to listen to him tell me I am naked when I wear shorts n sleeveless.  Adios.  

I am so happy with little Cotton Boo McChew.  I have him tattooed on my calf.  teehee.  HE is my little boy.  

OH what a big scare I had a year ago.  I was on my  little house ladder trying to hang a picture.  Had to make a nail adjustment.  I was stepping down I had a hammer in 1 hand and the picture in the other.  I felt fur under my foot.  OH no.  I lost my balance and picked my foot up asap but it wasn’t fast enuf.  Cotton ran under HIS coffee table.   He was lying in a funny position.  OH nooo what have I done.  I picked him up       and sat him on my bed  He sat fine.  I gathered the pet carrier put him in it.  Went to get on my 3 wheel bike   then decided he is in pain it might make him worse and he might die.  I saw a neighbor and  said can Ted  take us to the vet I stepped on Cotton its an emergency.  He got up took us.  I had to leave Cotton to be watched in case he went in to shock.       A few hours later the vet called.  HE is fine nothing broken there is soft tissue damage.  You can come pick him up he will need some pain med once a day.   And no activity.  Phew I was so relieved.  Poor little Boo he is my baby.  

I brought him home and put him on bed rest.  lol   He hated it.  The funny part when I gave him his pain med his pupils got real big was hilarious.  I said Cotton are you high rofl.  He didnt fuss when i gave him his pain med either.  Must have liked it lol.   Made the pain go away.  Let me tell ya nothing like an emergency to scare the heck out of ya.  

Also whenever someone on the tv knocks he pops his little head up and looks at me a if to say Hey aren’t you gona get the door?  rofl.   Such charactors.

Hi there I don’t believe we’ve met before. Cotton sounds like he is doing well, 9 and 1/2 is a great age for a bunny to be happy and healthy, and you can’t blame him for having a little bit of arthritis. He looks very cute in your signature pics. And I’m glad he’s no worse for wear from the little accident you had.

It sounds like a lot has been going on in your life, but for the better I have always thought that Muslim women must be very dedicated to constantly wear clothes covering arms and legs, I can certainly understand why you would have gotten frustrated with that.

Hopefully you can perhaps manage to resize the picture so that you can upload it, it would be great to see it

Edit: Also my bunnies (Apollo and Luna) don’t thump when they hear dogs barking, although Apollo does run and hide if I have dog smell on my clothing after being at a friend’s house.

I can’t believe Cotton is 9 1/2! How blessed you both are, to have so much time together.

We are up to nine bunnies, can you believe it! My new year’s resolution is no new bunnies! Lol They don’t thump at dogs, but sometimes Roxie and Caesar thump when I dance (I suck lol)

Brunos mum its so hard to resist those fuzzy faces.  I dread Cottons passing.  Housing changes the rules.  They dont allow bunnies anymore.  So sad about that   How do i resize those pictures

So glad to see you back here. You’ve been missed. Sounds like some positive life changes for you and you are free to live your life how you see fit. That is wonderful. Nothing worse than feeling emotional confined. I am so happy for you.

And cotton sounds like he is doing well, even with his arthritis. He is lucky to have you take such good care of him. Many of us have had a scare with a bunny being under foot. It’s can be scary!

Regarding your photo, you can email it to me and I will adjust it for you. I think I did that for you last time? Did you want it for your avatar, or just to post in your post?

I keep forgetting to put size 3 on my writings.  

My son is 29.  HE moved his family to georgia.  There are 2 grandbabies.  3 of hers.  My son loves children.  He is in his heaven with all the children.  Emily is a great mother.  Beautiful woman.  Her oldest loves pageants.  Beautiful girl too.  The rest are all boys.  Emily wants a sister so bad.  With all those brothers no one is going to mess with her tho.  They have an acre to play on and get down and dirty.  A kids delight.  Brandon has his own business.  Remodeling houses.  He is very good at it if I say so myself.  I am so proud of him.  Both his boys look like him so like him.  The 2 babies could be identical twins if they were the same age.  lol.  

I have a hobby.   Very lucky where I live.  We have a ceramics room with a kiln and some molds.  We have a retired ceramics shop owner who comes adn teaches us things for free.  She loves it.  We who are in ceramic club enjoy getting together on saturdays.  I live in a senior community for low income.  I am one of the few youngest ones here.  My ex got us in here he is 25 years older than me.  It is so refreshing to have a boyfriend 5 years older than me now.  lol.  Life is good.

I have 5 bunnies in my life these days. 2 pairs and a single boy.  I have 3 gone to the Rainbow bridge now too – which is always so sad. I have been lucky for one of my rabbits to reach age 10 though. Rumball. I don’t know if you remember him. Anyway, he is plenty spunky for a old dude. It sounds like Cotton is too!

Ceramics is great fun, it’s great you have a kiln, that’s the biggest cost and of course absolutely necessary. I used to do throwing back in the day. My mother makes sculptures. It’s very mindful.

Hi good to hear from yall.  Bam  hey awe only 1 bunny.   Yes sad they have to leave us for a while.  

Jersey Girl awe yours have moved on too.  3 of them.  I dread when Cotton goes ohhh.  Glad you have 5 tho. Yes Australia.  You must live where its ok to have bunnies.  I remember some areas you aren’t supposed to and have to be careful.  But they are just so loveable how can you not.  Cotton wont tolerate other bunnies.  You probably remember that.  If I small like another animal he isnt happy.  If its a bunny I get attacked and he draws blood.  Once I had matching wounds on each side of my checks.  lol.   I forgot I had been holding a bunny and didnt change shirts or wash my arms 2x with soap.  He has even attacked my feet before for smelling like another male baby bunny I had in the bathroom for a short time.  Dang and he is fast too. HE does a lot of damage in a short time.  It does no good to correct him either it makes him worse.  So I dont bother.  

LBJ10 yes I love ceramics its fun.  So glad we have the kiln and a teacher too.  Free.  lol.  Our room is locked we pay 3.00 a year for the key.  Its a small room but its ours.  Classes are held in the clubhouse which is big.  

Yes I will post some pics of my pieces.  Several bunnies of course.  lol.  Among other things.  I am wiccan now so its nice to personalize things towards that part of my life too.  

I do most of the bunnies to look like Cotton.  My Mom has most of my pieces as I went to live in Louisiana.  Didnt work out and I came back to Florida.  She is mad at me and well long story but I wont see my stuff again.  Glad I brought my brushes back to florida with me.  Lost all my paints and pieces tho. Oh well thats life cest la vie. 

 Have to be careful how many I paint cuz they can take over really quick lol.  Then they become dust collectors.
