I brush my little furball every day. My flat gets thoroughly hoovered at least once a week. I use my IKEA lint roller. A LOT!

But every single time I take clothes out of the dryer, they’re still covered in fluffy little bunny furballs. Especially the bedsheets – which I then have to lint roller after putting them on the bed!

My washer/dryer is well maintained – clean filters etc. I use soap and conditioner and cycle as indicated for the fabrics being washed. And still the battle against the fluffies rages on.

        Any ideas/tips/advice/tricks/magical solutions?

I googled ‘bunny fur lint magnet’ but got some less than helpful hits. LOL

You are lucky, I don’t have a dryer, I get washing out of the washer and dry it on rails and then, nice clean tea towel and white plate covered in black brown and grey bunny fur.
          I do hope someone knows.

I use dryer sheets when my clothing is in the dryer and I don’t have any issues. I’ve found for my items that are dry clean only I can just wipe the garment with a dryer sheet and most of the hair lets go

We don’t have a drier, so I’m no help either The only stuff that comes out with fur on it is if I do a load of washing after I washed the bunny fleece and I forget to wipe around the washing machine seal for the collected fur xD

My husband would murder me if I put fur-coated anything in the washing machine. I vacuum stuff off or use a lint roller before attempting to wash it.

Aren’t there some balls you can add to washing and in the dryer that catch the lint?

Found this on Amazon just now, it seems to have okay reviews. Maybe rub down the bedding with something like this both before and after washing?

I read something once about putting washing in dryer on a non heat cycle before washing the load. It is supposed to help loosen the fibres and release trapped pet hair more easily.

Thanks, everyone. It’s not strands of fur – but tiny balls of it. And my LG machine is a combo washer/dryer (same front loading machine, two jobs). I did find one cool idea late last night: getting a yard or so of fine-mesh netting and popping it with every load. Apparently it snags and traps the little balls of fur and once it gets too soft to do so, it can be inexpensively replaced. Or I can just shave Chewie

If you have a combo washer/dryer, would shaking out the washing in between wash and dry help some?

The net idea sounds like it’s worth a try. I say a thing called dryer maid also, which is a ball with fabric that is supposed to attract the loose lint. Wouldn’t know how well it works. Wonder what the fabric is that they are made out of?

I know. It looks like someone just photoshopped Chewbacca and a sphynx cat.

lol, I doubt mine would care, but I also do pre-wash prep work with the bunny fleece. I shake it off outside and also go over it all with a fur removal brush. Then I left all the mounds of fur drift away for the birds to collect

That hairless Chewbacca is terrifying, lol.

It’s hard to do anything like that in an 8th floor apartment with a balcony too narrow to stand on comfortably.
My next flat will have a big terrace or patio as one of my three must have features

Instead of vacuuming your home weekly, how about vacuuming bunny weekly instead?
